"We were elated when we learned that Alabama State Sen. Arthur Orr introduced SB 62 in the 2024 legislative session to end state taxes on menstrual supplies, as well as  baby formula, baby bottles, baby wipes, breast milk-pumping equipment, breast pumps, diapers, and maternity clothing," wrote Breanna and Brooke Bennett, Founders, Women in Training, Inc., in the Montgomery Advertiser. "We encourage all state representatives and senators to support SB 62 and its House counterpart, HB 236, sponsored by State Rep. Neil Rafferty."
