Khadidah Stone, Government Affairs Coordinator, Women in Training, Inc., published an opinion piece in the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper to support House Bill 50 that Alabama State Representative Rolanda Hollis introduced to help end period poverty in Alabama.
“Women have carried the worst part of the COVID-19 pandemic in so many ways, from job loss to food insecurity. When you pair that with menstrual inequity, it makes having your period that much harder to manage month after month."
