The Board of Directors of Women in Training, Inc. proudly announces its plans to honor the 2025 Women's History Month with a weekend of festivities on March 1 and 2, 2025, to raise funds to help end period poverty. This year's theme is YOUNG WONDERS, piggy backing on CNN Heroes naming WIT Co-founders Breanna and Brooke Bennett as CNN Heroes "Young Wonders" in December 2024.

"We invite all women and girls – mothers and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, godmothers and goddaughters, aunties and nieces, sisters and friends, mentors and mentees, boss ladies and colleagues, sorority sisters and spiritual sisters – to join us in celebration of the power of girls and womanhood,"said Alabama State Representive Rolanda Hollis, WIT Board Chairwoman. "Our male allies are also warmly welcome. Once again, we request that all guests wear white attire!"
Rep. Hollis is chairing the 2025 WIT Mother-Daughter Brunch that takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa in historic downtown Montgomery. Tickets are $75 per person, and $750 for a table of ten.

Ms. Dana Gibson Taunton, Esq., Principal, Beasley Allen Law Firm, is chairing the 5th Annual WIT 5K at Montgomery Whitewater. The event is taking place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. Registration begins at $20 until February 1, 2025.
